Junmai Ginjo

 The name “FLINT” refers to what saved the famous Yamato Takeru's life.  Yamato Takeru is an ancient historical hero who fought to unite Japan. He left behind many legends throughout the country, but fell ill during his travels and was then enshrined in the Imperial Mausoleum. Once enshrined, it is said that it transformed into a big shirochidori (white bird) and flew up to heaven. The site where the legend occured was named Shiratorizuka and is now known as the Kasado Shrine (Suzuka, Mie).  Zaku FLINT is a Junmai Ginjo sake made with 60% polished Yamada Nishiki rice. It is characterized by a well-rounded aroma and a rich taste with a good kire. Enjoy this sake comfortably once it is chilled and poured into a large glass.
