Kura Master 2020 で作 智がプレジデント賞を受賞

Kura Master 2020 で作 智が、プレジデント賞をいただきました。フランスのパリにあるホテルクリヨンのシェフソムリエであるグザビエ・チュイザ氏が審査委員長として、フランスに日本酒を広めるために2017年から開催されているコンクールです。審査員は全員ソムリエで、年々審査員の希望者が増えているそうですが、今年はコロナの影響で審査にもかなり影響があったと思います。

そのような中、プレジデント賞に選んでいただけたことは大変嬉しく誇らしい気持ちでいっぱいです。本当にありがとうございました。

We are humbled to share the news that Zaku ‘Satori’ Junmai Daiginjo Shizukudori was awarded Le Prix du Président at the Kura Master 2020 concours, held in Paris earlier this year.

As the name suggests, this award is bestowed by the President of the competition, Mr. Xavier Thuizat — Head Sommelier at Hôtel de Crillon, part of the Rosewood group — to a single outstanding Junmai, Junmai Daiginjo, or Sparkling sake entered in the given year. We are truly overcome with joy to have received this honour.

We wish to express our deepest thanks not only to Mr. Thuizat, but also to all of the esteemed judges — all sommeliers, restauranteurs, chefs, and others in world of gastronomy who share our love for sake — for their time and efforts, and for proceeding with the concours in such difficult circumstances.
